IDFA OGŁOSIŁA CZĘŚĆ PROGRAMU. SĄ POLSKIE FILMY!

The organisers of one of the most important festivals dedicated to documentary films like to ramp up the tension. A part of the festival's program has just been announced. It features a total of six Polish productions or co-productions.

The International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam is the largest and one of the most important documentary festivals in the world. It attracts over 280,000 attendees every year, including 3000 guests from the documentary industry while the films shown at IDFA often become festival favourites later. This year, IDFA will be held on 8–19 November.

Three Polish productions have been invited to the IDFA Competition for Youth Documentary. The following documentaries are going to compete for the attention of the young audience – Girls' Stories by Aga Borzym and Sister of Mine by Mariusz Rusiński, as well as Katarzyna Miechowicz's animated film Headprickles.

Natalia Koniarz's film will take part in the IDFA Competition for Short Documentary. Postcards from the Verge is a Polish-Bolivian production.

We've also learned the titles featured in the Best of Fest section, where viewers will get to see We Will Not Fade Away by Alisa Kovalenko and In the Rearview by Maciek Hamela.
