TWO POLISH PROJECTS AT LISBON DOCS
The list of projects selected to the Lisbon Docs pitch forum, which is a part of a Portuguese festival DocLisboa, was recently announced. Among the projects invited to the event are two Polish productions.
Lisbon Docs 2018, International Financing and Co-production Forum, will take place October 14th to 20th. Lisbon Docs is a part of DocLisboa International Film Festival. It creates an opportunity for documentary filmmakers and producers to meet new players in the distribution and financing markets. The authors of the selected projects will have a chance to take part in a three-day-long workshop session dedicated to the development of projects and in the pitch forum attended by international co-producers and financiers.
This year 21 projects were selected to the programme, including two from Poland. Among the chosen productions were George Tooker, dir. Maciej Thiem, Antonii Gralek, prod. Maciej Thiem and Lessons in Democracy, dir. Michal Helwak, prod. Marcin Wierzchoslawski.
