THREE POLISH PROJECTS AT BALTIC SEA DO
Adelina Borets, Audrius Stonys, and Piotr Rosołowski with Elwira Niewiera will present their new documentary projects at the Latvian event.
Baltic Sea Docs is a pitch session combined with workshops and film screenings. Held in Riga, the forum is dedicated to films from the Baltic states as well as those produced in other countries as long as they remain thematically connected to the Baltic region. This year's event will begin on 31 August and run until 5 September.
The organisers have announced the list of projects selected to participate in the forum. There are three Polish productions among the 22 titles: Brake for Gold by Adelina Borets, produced by Glib Lukianets of Gogol Film; Bride of the Invisible by Audrius Stonys, produced by Marija Stonytė and Mantas Kazlauskas from Lithuanian UKU films and co-produced by Poland's Drygas Film Production; and Women and War by Elwira Niewiera and Piotr Rosołowski. This Polish-German-Ukrainian production is being managed by Maciej Kubicki from Telemark, Hans-Robert Eisenhauer from Ventana Film, and Natalie Krasilnikova from Art Dialog.
