THE ACTORS
POLISH TITLE: AKTORZY
REPRESENTED BY KFF
While Jacek Bławut was filming Before Twilight on location in Skolimów at the home for retired actors there was another camera on the set. It recorded the actors waiting to enter the set, which resulted in an affectionate film, full of subtle humour, about waiting. The film characters have different ways of coping with the fact that they are no longer present on stage or on the screen. Nina Andrycz takes the lead while Irena Kwiatkowska is her exact opposite. The documentary also features Kazimierz Orzechowski, a Catholic priest and actor, as well as Beata Tyszkiewicz, Roman Kłosowski and Teresa Szmigielówna.
