Vitali has always dreamed of becoming a priest but after graduating from an Eastern Orthodox seminary, isn’t ready to follow his calling. He spends every free moment with his beloved grandmother, and with his best friend in a small shared apartment amongst their collection of countless books and icons. The friends fill their days and nights with song and never ending discussions, creating a world that becomes harder and harder for Vitali to leave behind.

Born in Montreal in 1987. Graduate of Cultural Studies at the University of Warsaw and the Sorbonne. She also studied at the Indonesia Institute of the Arts of Yogyakarta as part of the  Darmasiswa scholarship program. Graduate of the Wajda School DOK PRO course. Author of documentary films, reportages and podcasts.
