ZIGGY DUST
Zbigniew Cołbecki, the protagonist of Ryszard Kruk’s film, is an unconventional character. He became a watchmaker because of the family tradition, but his true passion is music and performing on stage. In the 1980s he co-founded a punk-rock band, Bikini. Later, as an émigré, he performed, among others in a circus and became famous as a dancing cleaner giving an interview to the CNN. The documentary reconstruction of Cołbecki’s life is complemented by his comments of the contemporary reality.
