WILD CURRANTS
POLISH TITLE: TAM, GDZIE ROSNĄ PORZECZKI
It is not easy to return to the places we have lost. This is what Leo Kantor learns. He is an immigrant of March 1968, a director and protagonist of the film. His story of a child saved from the Holocaust is revealed through the fragments of a documentary monodrama, staged among others in the Rozmaitości Theatre in Warsaw. Many years later Kantor decides to visit Strzegom where he lived after the war. Despite the passage of time he has vivid memories of the place, including those of his German neighbours.
